COVID-19 Guidelines

TSN’s Health Protection Measures for COVID-19

For the smooth functioning of the nursery, as directed by the Ministry of Administrative Development Labour and Social Affairs, we are introducing the following core measures for our nursery, as well as for the parents, to minimize the health risk to our little children. These measures will remain under regular review and can be revised as and when advised by the authorities concerned.

Measures for the Nursery:

  1. All workers will be tested for COVID-19 before resuming the Nursery.
  2. The “Ehteraz” status will be checked at the entrance for all staff of the nursery, every day.
  3. Parents and visitors will not be permitted to come inside the nursery.
  4. The parents accompanying the child will have to show their “Ehteraz” App (Green status).
  5. All children and nursery workers will be required to take off their shoes outside the nursery and wear separate shoes inside the nursery.
  6. Non-contact digital thermometers will be used to measure temperature of the children in the nursery especially when receiving them.
  7. In case a child shows any sickness symptoms during the working hours, the child will be isolated, and the parents would be informed to take the child home.
  8. The Teachers will regularly explain to the kids the importance of washing hands and avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth, as well as physical contacts with others.
  9. Inside the nursery we will promote social distancing, as much as possible, by reducing the number of children per class and by avoiding the activities that require crowding or direct contact between children.
  10. Hand-sanitizers will be provided in all rooms.
  11. All workers in the nursery will wear masks and gloves during work.
  12. The entire nursery would be cleaned and sanitised every day.
  13. The toilet will be sanitized before and after use by children.
  14. All new admission enquiries and information would be conducted over the phone. The registration process for the new admissions would be done completely online.
  15. The fees payment will be done through online banking and the receipts will be emailed.

Guidelines for Parents:

  1. Parents should send a separate pair of shoes to be kept in the Nursery.
  2. Parents must not send their kids to the nursery under the following situations:
    • If the child, or any family member, is showing any sickness symptoms like fever, cough, vomiting, runny nose and shortness of breath etc. Please consult your doctor immediately.
    • In case any family member is infected with COVID 19.The child can re-join only after they undergo the necessary treatment or quarantine and submit a medical certificate stating that they are COVID negative.
  3. During dispersal, the parents must maintain social distancing and collect their children in adherence to the token system or as specified by the nursery staff.
  4. Parents should select the child’s bag made of a material that can be cleaned and wiped easily.

Together with parents, we are fully committed to take all the necessary preventive measures to face this difficult time and provide a highly rewarding social and educational experience to our children in the Nursery.
